Our Programs

The Christmas Box Houses, also known as "emergency children's shelters," were built to serve children and teens who are victims of abuse and neglect. The Christmas Box Houses are located in Ogden, Salt Lake and Moab and offer shelter, food, on-site therapy, medical and dental evaluation, and recreational activities.

Christmas Box Resource Rooms are stocked with new supplies including clothing, bedding, baby items, school and hygiene kits, books, household items and toys to serve youth staying at The Christmas Box Houses, as well as our partnering nonprofits and state agencies.

The Christmas Box International provides resources to children in countries such as Ecuador, Peru, Columbia, India, Mexico, Morocco and Kenya. In 2018, we served 1890 children in these countries, distributing in-kind donations such as socks, underwear, books, hygiene items, clothing and school supplies to volunteer organizations working in the region.

Project Elf provides a Christmas morning to more than 2,600 abused and neglected children, teens and young adults. Groups and individuals help to fulfill Christmas wishes for children at The Christmas Box Houses and partnering agencies, such as in-home service cases with the Division of Child and Family Services.
